Terms and Conditions

By making a booking and paying a deposit to Daisy’s Tea Party, you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions.

Parties:
(a) The ‘Supplier’ is: Daisy’s Tea Party, 75, Elthorne Park Road, London, W7 2JB.
(b) The ‘Hirer’ is the person named. 
Once the supplier and hirer have finalised details of the order, the hirer is required to sign a contract. This is to be returned to us via email to info@daisysteaparty.co.uk or by post to 75, Elthorne Park Road, London, W7 2JB.

Period of Hire: 
Our standard period of hire is 4 working days, with additional time incurring an agreed surcharge. All items remain the property of Daisy’s Tea Party. During the Period of Hire the Hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods. Any losses, damages or breakages will be charged for accordingly. (See Replacement Charges section below).

Liability: 
Daisy’s Tea Party shall not be responsible for any injury or damages to persons, buildings or property howsoever sustained arising from our goods under hire.
Daisy’s Tea Party will not be held responsible for any circumstances that may occur to prevent the Supplier from carrying out the contract. If this should happen, the Hirer will be notified and refunded in full. Compensation will not be due and under no circumstances will any liability exceed the invoice value of the hired goods.

Force Majeure: 
If either party is subject to an event of Force Majeure, that is circumstances outside reasonable control, including but not limited to war, fire, industrial disputes or civil commotion, it shall notify the other and the first party's obligations under these Terms shall be suspended until it notifies the other party of the end of such event of Force Majeure.

Payments:
We require two separate payments. The first is a non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the total order cost, paid at the time of booking. This booking deposit secures the date. The second is the remaining balance of the total order cost plus a damage/loss deposit of £100. This is to be paid 2 weeks before the hire date. The damage/loss deposit will be returned to the hirer once the items have been returned and inspected for damages, missing items etc. If any items are damaged/missing they will incur a replacement charge (as listed below) which will be deducted from the £100 damage/loss deposit. If the hirer does not supply their bank details for the return of the damage/loss deposit within 28 days of the hire period, the damage/loss deposit will not be returned.

Cancellation Policy: 
In the event of a cancellation, the booking deposit will be lost (this is non-refundable) and the £100 damage deposit returned within 5 working days. Changes in numbers can be accepted up to two weeks prior to the delivery/collection date. Final numbers and order details must be confirmed no later than two weeks prior to the delivery/collection date. Any changes after this date will be subject to availability. 

Packing and Collection: 
PLEASE DO NOT CLEAN THE CROCKERY. Due to their fragile nature, we prefer to hand-wash the items ourselves to preserve the delicacy and to ensure they are sparkling clean for our next customer to enjoy. 
When preparing the crockery for collection we ask that, after foods and liquids have been removed, it is placed in the provided containers and made ready for collection on the agreed date and time. Any breakages due to poor packing will also be subject to the Replacement Charges listed below.

Law: 
All parties agree English law applies and submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
